Similar to crisis hotlines, users don't need to identify themselves to use our services, protecting your identity from the start.
No User Tracking
We maintain no records of specific individuals using our services, ensuring your conversations remain confidential.
Private Sign-up
We support anonymous email addresses like Apple Relay and ProtonMail for sign-up, providing an additional layer of identity protection.

Near-Term Privacy Goals
Our short-term privacy objectives focus on strengthening fundamental protections and giving users more direct control over their data and conversations.
End-to-End Encryption
We're implementing encryption that ensures your conversations can only be read by you and the AI – not even by us. Think of this like a secure digital envelope that only you and your AI companion can open.
Why it matters: End-to-end encryption ensures no third party (including LAT) can access the content of your personal conversations, dramatically increasing privacy.
Delete-by-Default
Building systems where your conversations are automatically deleted after use, unless you specifically choose to save them. Your data disappears by default, not by request.
Why it matters: The less data stored, the lower the privacy risk. Delete-by-default ensures your conversations don't linger in systems unnecessarily, reducing vulnerability.
Opt-in Only
Creating a system where no data is collected unless you specifically agree to it. We're flipping the traditional model: nothing is collected by default.
Why it matters: Putting you in control of your data from the beginning creates a foundation of trust and ensures you only share what you're comfortable with.
You Own Your Data
Your personal data belongs to you and you alone. We believe that any collection, storage, or processing of your information should happen only with your explicit consent and be used exclusively for your benefit. You should have complete transparency about how your data is used and the ability to revoke access at any time.
