Terms and Conditions

LAT™ is a trademark and trading name of Aquila Nidum Limited. Our conversational AI services are provided to customers in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.

By registering for, activating, making use of, or by paying for LAT services you acknowledge having read and agreed to these terms, and you represent that there is no legal impediment to your entering or being bound by this agreement.

LAT provides an AI-powered conversational experience utilizing ElevenLabs voice technology. You acknowledge and understand that:

1. You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not a human.

2. Your conversations are being recorded and may be shared with ElevenLabs and other LLM (Large Language Model) providers as necessary to provide the service.

3. The output generated by our AI is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice in any field, including without limitation medical, legal, accounting, financial, investment, or psychological advice.

4. You agree not to rely on such output as a substitute for professional advice and should always seek advice from a qualified professional for such matters.

5. LAT disclaims all liability for any actions taken based on output generated by our conversational AI. Any reliance on output is solely at your own risk.

Usage of LAT services will be charged according to the current price list as made available on the LAT site. Changes to our pricing shall become effective immediately upon posting to the site.

LAT does not store payment card data. We use Stripe as our payment processor to process card payments on our behalf. By using our service, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy available on their website.

LAT accepts no liability for any charges assessed by a third party provider when used in conjunction with LAT services. Your access to and use of a service provided by a third party provider is subject to the provider's terms and conditions.

Whilst we endeavour to provide continuous service, there are events outside our control that may mean the service is not available.

LAT will not be liable for any damages in the event of a service disruption.

The rates that will be charged for conversations will be based on a rate which is inclusive of any applicable taxes and surcharges. Should the rate not include taxes, this will be noted next to the rate in question. This rate will be the rate advertised on the LAT website at the time of service usage.

If you select any of the time-based subscription plans, your service will continue until your subscription period has elapsed.

Our unlimited plan has a fair usage allowance of 10 hours of conversation per month. If you exceed this amount, your plan will end for the month and you will be required to purchase another plan to continue using the service.

Your billing descriptor will show up as LAT on your card statements.

We use Stripe to process your payments. Your transactions are processed by them in accordance with their privacy and legal policies. Your use of cards to pay for the LAT service requires your acceptance of their terms and privacy policy.

All payments are non-refundable except as detailed in our money-back guarantee section below. You can cancel your LAT account at any time; there is no minimum term for any of our products and you will not be liable for any further sums after your cancellation has been processed. Please allow one working day for us to process your cancellation request. If you wish to cancel, please contact Customer Services using the contact form on our website.

Payment for LAT services is billed on a pre-pay basis, unless otherwise agreed by both parties. You agree that our services will not be provisioned until sufficient pre-payment has been made, and that service may be terminated immediately if sufficient pre-payment does not continue to be made. It is your ongoing responsibility to ensure that your account maintains the necessary balance to provision the service.

Subscription plans will automatically rebill to the card used for the initial payment. If your automatic payment does not clear for your subscription plan, your access may be restricted until payment issues are resolved.

You agree that LAT can expire any account that remains inactive for 90 (ninety) days. Such expiration renders the balance non-refundable. If you wish to leave your account dormant without it expiring in this way, please contact Customer Services.

LAT takes your privacy seriously. In order to provide our service, we collect and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our service, and we do not share your data with third parties except where necessary to provide our service.

We may send you essential account-related information, including system notifications and low balance alerts. These messages are essential to the running of your account with us, so it is not possible to opt out of these communications. When you close your account, you will no longer receive communications from us. Your data is deleted three months after you close your account with us.

When you use our conversational AI service, we collect conversation data for the purpose of providing and improving our service. These records are retained for three months and then deleted. As a result, any queries about conversation data prior to the three-month cut-off cannot be addressed.

When you pay using a debit or credit card, your payment and any related payment data is processed by Stripe. This data is not stored or processed directly by LAT.

If you wish to view and download your personal data, please log into your account. All the personal information that we hold for you is displayed on the main account page. You can download or print it as you wish.

Our conversational AI service is powered in part by ElevenLabs technology. By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that:

1. Your conversation data and voice interactions may be shared with ElevenLabs to provide the service.

2. You grant ElevenLabs and its affiliates and subcontractors a non-exclusive right to process and use your data to provide and support the Services.

3. LAT is not ElevenLabs' agent or partner or in a joint venture with ElevenLabs.

4. ElevenLabs is a third-party beneficiary of this agreement.

You agree not to use our service to:

1. Violate any applicable laws or infringe upon the rights of others

2. Upload financial account identifiers, government-issued identifiers, or other sensitive data subject to specific data protection requirements

3. Create, distribute, or promote sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or harassing content

4. Engage in fraudulent, predatory, or abusive practices

5. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise discover the underlying components of our service

6. Develop or train competitive AI models

7. Impersonate others without consent or deceive others about whether voice content was generated by AI

8. Make any professional, medical, legal, or financial advice generated by the AI available to others without proper review by a qualified professional and clear disclosure of AI use

If you're experiencing technical issues with our service that prevent you from having meaningful conversations with our AI, just contact Customer Support and we can help troubleshoot. If we can't resolve your technical issues, we will refund your purchase price on any of our products.

Just let us know within 30 days of signing up that you're experiencing issues and you'll be fully covered by our guarantee.

We offer refunds in exceptional circumstances that do not meet the criteria under the money back guarantee. Please contact Customer Services for more information.

You agree that LAT records are conclusive evidence of your use of the site and service. Furthermore, you acknowledge that these records will be used to calculate charges incurred.

You agree to be held fully responsible for all use of and fees related to your account, and accept full liability and responsibility for the actions of anyone who uses the site or service via your account, except when unauthorised use is solely attributed to an act or omission on the part of LAT.

You agree that LAT should not be and is not responsible for any third party claims against us that arise from your use of the Service. Further, you agree to reimburse us for all of our costs and expenses related to the defence of any such claims, including legal fees, unless such claims are based on our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

You must notify LAT within thirty (30) days of the date on your credit card or debit card statement if you dispute any LAT charges on that statement or such dispute will be deemed waived.

You agree to indemnify LAT and its agents, and hold them harmless from any claims or damages relating to this agreement. You agree not to hold LAT or its agents liable for any loss of business, contracts, savings or profits, or any other damages or losses (direct or consequential) to the extent that LAT liability can be limited by law.

You are expressly prohibited from using the Service for any abusive or fraudulent purpose, including using the Service in a way that interferes with our ability to provide the Service to you or other customers or avoids your obligation to pay for services.

LAT, in its sole discretion, may terminate your Service without advance notice if it believes you have violated the aforementioned restrictions, or if you act in a manner that is threatening, obscene, harassing, or abusive to LAT personnel.

You are liable for any and all use of the Service by any person using the Service provided to you and agree to indemnify and hold harmless LAT against any and all liability for any such use. If LAT, in its sole discretion, believes that you have violated the aforementioned restrictions, LAT may forward personally identifiable information to the appropriate authorities for investigation and prosecution and you hereby consent to such forwarding.

You are expressly prohibited from any use of the Service or any other action that, in LAT's sole discretion, is deemed to present a risk to the network integrity or security of LAT or its vendors, whether directly or indirectly. LAT, in its sole discretion, may terminate your Service without advance notice if it determines your actions could cause a network disruption or security breach.

The terms of this agreement shall come into effect immediately upon appearing on the LAT website, as indicated by the time-stamp at the foot of this document. LAT may terminate this agreement at any time for any breach of these terms or any applicable policy as posted on the LAT website. No reimbursement for any fees charged in connection with LAT services shall be issued for such a termination.

Any provision of this agreement relating to term, payment, liability, indemnification, governing law, or confidentiality shall survive termination or expiration.

We can assign all or part of our rights or duties under this Agreement without notifying you. If we do that, we have no further obligations to you. You may not assign this Agreement or the Service without our prior written consent.

LAT Service prioritizes your privacy but utilizes, in part, the public internet and necessary third-party services to deliver our conversational AI platform. LAT is not liable for any lack of privacy which may be experienced with regard to the Service. In addition, LAT will provide personally identifiable customer and conversation detail information in response to lawful government requests, subpoenas, and court orders, as well as law enforcement requests.

LAT primarily communicates with users of the Service via email. Such messages from LAT are used to communicate important information about the Service, including billing and changes to the Service, much of which is time-sensitive. LAT reserves the right to withdraw any service offered by the company immediately without prior warning or notice. You acknowledge that emails from LAT constitute official notice from LAT and that you are required to read in a timely manner all emails sent to the email address specified by you at the time of registration for the Service in order to avoid any potential disruption of the Service. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for notifying LAT of any changes in your email address and payment details.

LAT will not be responsible to you for any delay, failure in performance, loss, or damage due to fire, explosion, power blackout, earthquake, volcanic action, flood, the weather elements, strike, embargo, labour disputes, civil or military authority, war, acts of God, acts or omissions of carriers or suppliers, acts of regulatory or governmental agencies, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

You agree to treat our team with courtesy and respect. Any inflammatory, obscene or threatening contact will lead to the immediate and permanent termination of your relationship with us, with no further redress or escalation available to you.

You acknowledge that LAT provides AI-generated responses that are not from human representatives. While we strive to ensure our AI systems provide helpful, accurate, and ethically sound responses, the nature of AI systems means responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies or may not fully address your specific situation.

You agree that LAT is not liable for any decisions you make based on AI conversations. Our service is designed to provide support and information, but should not replace professional advice, particularly for medical, legal, financial, or mental health matters requiring licensed professional guidance.

From time to time referral bonus offers may be advertised to existing customers. These offers may be withdrawn at any time and bonus payments are at the sole discretion of LAT. Fraudulent bonuses can be withheld where there is a reasonable suspicion that the new customer is not genuine. Referral bonuses are only paid out when the new subscriber completes their first paid subscription, and will be withdrawn if they claim on our money back guarantee.

LAT is committed to responsible AI development. By default, your conversation data is not used to train our AI models. We prioritize your privacy and maintain control over how your data is used.

If you explicitly opt in to allow your anonymized conversation data to help improve our services, any such data will be thoroughly anonymized to remove all personally identifiable information before being used for service improvements.

We carefully select third-party service providers based on their privacy practices, and whenever possible, we choose providers that do not use customer data for their own AI training purposes. We take all reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected according to our privacy standards.

LAT provides conversational AI companions designed to offer supportive listening and conversation. Our service is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services, a crisis helpline, or a qualified mental health professional immediately.

Our AI companions are designed to recognize situations that require professional human intervention and will guide users toward appropriate resources in such cases. However, the effectiveness of this feature cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances.

You acknowledge that LAT's primary purpose is to provide supportive conversation and emotional support through AI technology, and you agree not to rely on our service for professional medical or mental health treatment.

Our service uses ElevenLabs voice technology which may process voice data. You understand and acknowledge that:

1. Voice recordings and data may be processed by our service to generate synthetic speech and facilitate conversational interactions.

2. Voice models created from your voice data, if applicable, will only be used with your explicit consent.

3. You should not provide voice data of individuals under 18 years of age.

4. You grant us and ElevenLabs a license to use, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works from your voice data solely to provide the service.

These Terms and Conditions are effective from 3 April 2025 and supersede all prior versions.
